How to use Pre-sale EDD data to analyze estimated delivery date performance on the Product page
Page overview
Customers often want to know when they can expect to receive an order before they buy. Pre-sale EDD data helps you view Visits, Impressions, and Add to cart performance for estimated delivery dates on the Product page, so you can understand whether customers see the estimated delivery date and whether they are more willing to add products to cart after seeing it.
Before using this data, complete Pre-sale EDD setup first. Go to: Settings - EDD settings - Pre-sale EDD to set estimated delivery date sources and display content, and add the EDD widget to the Product page.
You can also view performance by EDD source to understand whether the estimated delivery dates customers see mainly come from Carrier official EDD, 17TRACK AI EDD, or Custom EDD, then adjust EDD settings based on the results.
How to view the Pre-sale EDD data page
Go to your store's Shopify admin and open the 17TRACK app.
Click Analytics in the left navigation, then click the Pre-sale EDD tab at the top to switch to the Pre-sale EDD data page.
When you open the page for the first time, it displays data within the default filter range. You can adjust filters to view performance by time, store, or EDD source.

Use filters to view data
- Store filter: If your account is connected to multiple stores, this filter appears so you can view data for all stores or a specific store. The default value is all stores.
- Time filter: Select the data time range you want to view. The default value is the last 30 days. After you change the time range, overview metrics, Engagement trend, and EDD source distribution update together.
- EDD source filter: View data by Carrier official EDD, 17TRACK AI EDD, or Custom EDD. You can select one or more sources to understand Visits, Impressions, and Add to cart performance for different sources.
Example: Select Last 30 days and choose Custom EDD in the EDD source filter. The page will show Pre-sale EDD performance related to Custom EDD within the last 30 days.

View overview data
Here you can understand overall performance: customers visiting the Product page, seeing estimated delivery dates, and continuing to add products to cart after seeing them.
Each metric shows the trend compared with the previous period. If there is no comparable data in the previous period, "--" is displayed. Percentage metrics are shown to two decimal places.
- Visits: The number of times customers opened the Product page, showing how many opportunities the estimated delivery date had to be seen.
- Impressions: The number of times customers actually saw the estimated delivery date. Visits where the estimated delivery date was not shown are not counted as Impressions.
- Impression rate: Impressions / Product page visits. It shows the share of Product page visits where customers actually saw the estimated delivery date.
- Add to cart: The number of times customers added the same product to cart after seeing the estimated delivery date. Repeat Add to cart actions after the same view are counted once.
- Add to cart rate: Add to cart / Impressions. It shows the share of customers who added to cart after seeing the estimated delivery date.
Add to cart and Add to cart rate can help you observe purchase intent. If Add to cart rate changes significantly, review product price, inventory, promotions, and delivery promises together.

View Engagement trend
Here you can understand how Visits, Impressions, and Add to cart change over time.
After you adjust estimated delivery date copy, display position, EDD source priority, or Product page content, use Engagement trend to see whether the data changes noticeably.
You can switch between day, week, and month granularity. Hover over the chart to view Visits, Impressions, and Add to cart for the corresponding date. Click a legend item to hide or show a metric.

View EDD source distribution
Here you can understand which source the estimated delivery dates seen by customers mainly came from.
- Carrier official EDD: The estimated delivery date comes from EDD information provided by the carrier.
- 17TRACK AI EDD: The estimated delivery date comes from 17TRACK AI EDD.
- Custom EDD: The estimated delivery date comes from custom rules you configured in EDD settings.
When data is available, hover over the donut chart to view the quantity and percentage for each source. Click a legend item to hide or show a source.
If the share of a source changes significantly, go to EDD settings to review whether source priority, shipping configuration, or Custom EDD rules match your current business situation.

FAQ
1. How should I interpret Add to cart rate?
Add to cart rate helps you understand customers' intent to add products to cart after seeing the estimated delivery date. When Add to cart rate increases, it usually means the current estimated delivery date display is more helpful for customer decisions. When Add to cart rate decreases, check whether the estimated delivery date is too far away, whether the copy is clear, and whether product price, inventory, or promotions have changed.
2. How can I use this data to optimize settings?
Start with Visits to confirm whether the Product page has enough traffic. Then check Impression rate to understand whether customers can see the estimated delivery date. Finally, check Add to cart rate to understand add-to-cart performance after customers see the estimated delivery date. If the data changes significantly, filter by EDD source to see whether the change is concentrated in a specific source. When adjustments are needed, go to EDD settings to optimize display content, source priority, or Custom EDD rules.
3. Why don't recent Visits, Impressions, or Add to cart show immediately?
To help reduce the impact on Product page loading and the customer browsing experience, Pre-sale EDD data is not refreshed in real time. It is updated shortly after customer activity, usually within a few minutes, and may take up to about 5 minutes. If you just adjusted settings or are testing the Product page, refresh the page later or select the time range again to view the latest data.
