How to Add Tags to Shipments?
Adding tags to shipments is an important way to efficiently manage orders. You can customize tags based on your business needs (e.g., "Restock Needed", "VIP Customer", "Abnormal Item"), and quickly filter and view corresponding shipments in the 17TRACK backend.
I. Adding or Deleting Tags from Shipments
Add Tags
- Path:
17TRACK Backend>Shipments> Select target shipments > Click 「Add Tags」 at the bottom of the list. - Steps:
- In the pop-up window, you can search for and select existing tags, or enter a new tag name to create it directly.
- Click 「Save」. The tags will be added to the selected shipments.



Delete Tags
- Path:
17TRACK Backend>Shipment Management> Select target shipments > Click 「Remove Tags」 at the bottom of the list. - Steps:
- In the pop-up window, select the tags you wish to remove from the shipments.
- Click 「Confirm」. The selected tags will be removed from the shipments.

II. Managing Tags
Path: 17TRACK Backend > Settings > Manage Tags.
On this page, you can:
- Search or Create Tags: Quickly find existing tags via the search bar, or enter a new tag name and press Enter to create it directly.
- Rename: Click the edit icon next to a tag, modify the name, and save.
- Delete: Click the delete icon. Once deleted, the tag will be automatically removed from all associated shipments. This action is irreversible.

III. Viewing Shipment Tags
- View in the Shipment Management List
- 「Tags」 Column: Directly displays the 17TRACK tags added to the shipment.
- Filter by Tags: Click 「More Filters」 at the top of the list, select 「Tags」, and filter shipments by your 17TRACK tags.


- View Shopify Order Tags
17TRACK syncs the order tags you add on the Shopify admin order details page.
- Filter Access: Select 「Shopify order tag」 in 「More Filters」 to filter shipments by your Shopify tags.

- View in the Shipment Details Page
Click on a shipment to enter its details page. "Shipment Tags" and "Shopify Order Tags" are displayed on the right side, allowing you to review them together.
