How to Make Tracking Numbers Clickable to Your Tracking Page? (Enable Redirection)
By enabling the Redirection feature, you can allow both your customers and yourself in the Shopify admin to click on an order's tracking number and be redirected directly to your Tracking Page, providing a seamless, branded tracking experience.
I. Feature Overview & Effective Rules
Feature Purpose:
- Automatically replaces the tracking number links in orders with exclusive links pointing to your Tracking Page.
Effective Scope:
- New Orders: Takes effect immediately only for orders newly synced after the feature is enabled.
- Historical Orders: If you disable and then re-enable the feature, or wish to apply it to recent orders, click the "Redirect Historical Orders" button. This action will apply to historical orders from the past 30 days.

II. How to Enable or Disable This Feature?
You can manage the on/off switch for this feature uniformly in your 17TRACK backend.
Operation Path:
- 17TRACK Backend > Tracking Page > Replace shipment link (Redirection).
- Click the toggle switch to Enable or Disable the feature.

- Choice After Disabling: When disabling the feature, the system will ask if you want to "Restore the tracking page link to the link before redirection" (e.g., the carrier's official website). Upon confirmation, links for existing orders will be reverted.

III. Where Do the Links Become Effective?
Once enabled, tracking numbers in the following locations will become clickable links redirecting to your Tracking Page:
- Customer View: In your store's "Order History" page.

- Merchant View: In the Shopify admin's "Order Details" page.

IV. How to Modify Already Applied Links? (Manual Adjustment)
If you need to adjust links for individual orders:
- For a Small Number of Orders: Directly go to Shopify Admin > Order Details > Fulfillment Information and edit the "Tracking Link" field.


- For a Large Number of Orders: It is recommended to temporarily disable the Redirection feature in the 17TRACK backend, then re-enable it, and click "Redirect Historical Orders". The system will re-apply the links to orders from the past 30 days.
