Workflow for Automated Returns Processing

Overview:


The automated returns process greatly improves efficiency, reduces labor costs, minimizes error rates, enhances response speed, and strengthens process visibility and traceability, making standardized management easier.



So, how can automated returns be configured?

Chapter 1: How to Set Up Auto-Approval for Return Requests?

Step 1: Edit the 'Auto-Approve Return Request' Template.

Step 2: Edit conditions.

Step 3: 'Add Action' is the final execution node of the workflow. You must add an action at the end of the condition settings for the automation to be triggered accordingly; otherwise, it will not take effect.

Step 4: The changes will only take effect after saving and enabling the workflow.

*Step 5: The toggle switch can be enabled after editing the template.(If the switch is enabled without editing the template, the automation will be triggered based on default conditions.)***

This operation only applies to return requests that both meet the auto-approval conditions and have the automation switch enabled.

The icon for auto-approved returns is different from the icon for manually approved returns.(Both examples below show auto-approved returns.)Return requests that do not meet the conditions will not be auto-approved.

Chapter 2: How to Set Up 'Auto-Refund'? (The method is the same as in Chapter 1)


Chapter 3: How to Set Up 'Automatically Mark as Item Received'?

Step 1: Enable the toggle switch.

Step 2: When the return shipment status is 'Delivered' the system will automatically mark the item as received.

The icon for automatically marked as received is different from the manually marked one, as shown in the screenshot below.
Only return requests that have the automation switch enabled and have a status of 'Delivered' will be automatically marked as received.

Chapter 4: How to Set Up 'Automatically Mark as Resolved'? (The method is the same as in Chapter 3)
